A portable monitor that can be worn on the belt for assessing dust exposures of workers at all workplaces. Air around the "breathing zone" is sampled.

Workers working at factories and worksites can now be assessed on their exposures to dust, with every minute logged throughout the entire workshift.

Conventional gravimetric methods, using sampling pump is still considered the "Gold standard" and chemical analysis possible, the AM510 provides minute-by-minute, time-stamped records of dust exposure. We are able to see the trend of dust exposure concentration.

Sensitivity:
Sensor Type: 90° light scattering, 670 nm laser diode
Aerosol: 0.001 to 20 mg/m3
Concentration Range: (calibrated to respirable fraction of ISO 12103-1, A1 test dust)
Particle Size Range: 0.1 to 10 micrometer (µm)
Minimum Resolution: 0.001 mg/m3
Zero stability: ±0.001 mg/m3 over 24 hours using 10-second time-constant
Temperature Coefficient: Approximately +0.0005 mg/m3 per °C (for variations from temperature at which instrument was last zeroed)
